Meet Me at the Corner
Doesn't this look like a nice place to meet up and have a bite to eat? I also love that it is on the corner of Champs-Elysee and Rue de Cafe Zupas (according to the signpost, anyway).
Mother Nature Meets Technology
I passed a neighbor's house and discovered these funky flowers, which were swarming with bees. So I stopped and took a few pictures. So this picture is obviously of nature, and I figure that my digital camera is the technology that captured this picture (and stopped the bee in mid-flight). Works for me!
One Step at a Time
This week I took the kids to a splash pad. My boys ran right into the water and were having a blast! Little Miss Aubrey was a little more hesitant. She did not want to go near the water which was squirting out of the ground. So we took it one step at a time. First we got her feet wet in the little river. After playing there for a while she was completely wet. Then I took her back to the splash pad and she worked her way up to playing with the fountains. It was SO fun!
What's Wrong with this Picture?
Scuffed up shoes with gleaming white laces. My son knows how to tie his shoes, but when they come untied he often does not bother to tie them up right away. So he needed new shoe laces, which I think look pretty funny in his beat-up shoes. Also, his socks don't really match.
Standing Tall
The flag at our local grocery store stands over 100 feet high. You can see it for miles around. Mount Timpanogos, which is in the background of this photo, stands at 11,749 feet tall. Now that is what I call standing tall!
Great interpretations! I used a flag for my standing tall and street signs as well...I guess great minds think alike! Love the pictures of your little girl...she is so stinking cute!
ReplyDeleteAwe...your "one step at a time" is too cute!
ReplyDeleteGreat job with the prompts. My husband was just admiring these flowers in someone's yard. I don't know what they are Nice job this week!

ReplyDeleteI almost used a picture of the same flower for standing tall! Great finds!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree about the digital technology capturing nature! And the new lace/unmatched socks shot is adorable. That would have been my daughter...my son was a stickler about matching everything...and taking care of everything!
ReplyDeleteOh great line-up...love the little one and at least the socks are the same color!!
