This was probably the most difficult prompt for me this week. But I managed to find and old stagecoach this evening that had some very warped wood on its sides.
Our city celebration this week included a carnival downtown. While there with my family, I experimented by taking timed exposures of the Ferris Wheel to show its movement. When I got home it struck me that an even longer exposure would produce concentric circles. So I went back later and took some long exposures of the Ferris wheel. This is one of my favorites! (more pictures later this week)
This is a gear that I found on an antique planer that is not far from my house. I love the look of the rust and patina on this old machinery.
In college I had a roommate who took a pottery class. As a result of her class, I met a talented artist who made the most beautiful lightweight pitchers! Even though I was a poor college student, I bought this pitcher for about $50. I still love it and think it is beautiful. And yes, it is glazed.
This one is fairly obvious, isn't it?
