Abstract
I admit that I was not excited when I saw this prompt. I had a hard enough time with it several weeks ago and ended up with what I felt like was a lame picture. So then I looked up abstract photography and got inspired. I ended up with this picture, which is actually a closeup of an acorn cap without the nut inside.
Round
This photo challenge happened during the week of the full moon, so I couldn't resist taking a picture this very large, glowing orb.
Fire
I did not feel like lighting a candle or a bonfire (which I think is not quite legal), so you get a picture of the flames on this car instead. I think they look almost real, don't you?
Seeing Faces in Strange/Unusual Places
When we drove up American Fork Canyon, I was surprised to find this little face. It is actually the sign over a picnic area, but I love how it has two screws for eyes, the number one for a nose, and a little staple for the mouth.
Stars
When we went up the canyon, we stayed until after dark so I could try for a shot at the stars. I searched online to find outhow to take pictures of the night sky and decided to give it a try. I know this result is not perfect, but I absolutely loved that my camera could take pictures of stars I could not even see with my eyes! I had a hard time choosing which of my star shots to share because I loved them all! This was my favorite photo this week.
Awww! I love the last picture!Stars are so pretty!
