Hello Yellow!

Shades of Autumn Photo Challenge
Is it Friday yet?

This week has been a bit busy and hectic. After a crazy evening yesterday, we took a lovely and relaxing drive up the canyon this evening. I love living so close to the mountains! Here is a picture of the back side of Mount Timpanogos.

The leaves are changing up there quicker than those in the valley.  Can you see the hints of yellow up there by the SNOW? Almost all the aspens in the canyon have started to turn yellow.


Many of the maple leaves were yellow as well.




The trees here in the valley are starting to change colors as well, but it seems that some of the bushes in our neighborhood are getting there faster.



We have found yellow leaves on the sidewalk...

and tall yellow wheat growing in neighbors' gardens.



The boys brought me this leaf and insisted I take a picture of it... so I did.


Besides the leaves, we have had some gorgeous yellow and pink sunsets.
