Scavenger Hunt Sunday (#10)

Words
I visited my sister in Logan for the weekend and on the way I had to stop and take a picture of the words on this barn as the sun was setting. I don't know what "The Woman's Tonic" actually is, but I think I need some!

Fly

Usually I am not happy when I find flies in the house, but when I saw this guy creeping around on my bathroom mirror I knew he would be perfect for this prompt (duh)! So I got out my macro filters and got some pretty cool shots!

Orange

I took so many fun orange pictures this week that I had a hard time choosing one... so you get two. Here are some orange berries from a pyracantha bush, and some beautiful light orange flowers from my neighbor's yard.

Under
My husband brought me pumpkins from our neighbor that I thought were normal until he showed me what was underneath them! Holy cow! What on earth are they growing under there? One of them looks like it was trying to grow four legs and walk off! Don't they look kind of like alien spaceships?

Always Look on the Bright Side
This is one of the very first pictures that I took with my macro filters. I didn't quite know what I was doing, so I was just fiddling around (good old trial and error).  One of the best thing about digital cameras is that it gives amateurs like me the freedom to take hundreds of photos (learning all the while), knowing that eventually I will get that one shot that makes me happy.

  19. Wow! These were wonderful. Loved the "Words" and I'd like to know myself what Women's Tonic is! - The "Fly" shot was awesome even though they are nasty creatures/annoying too.
