Home Sick

Ugh! What is it about the month of January? I am blessed because my family does not get sick very often, but without fail we all seem to get sick in January!

First Eli started with a cough and a fever last Thursday morning. I kept him home from preschool and he spent mos of the day like this:

Poor little guy had an ear infection, but I managed to get him to the doctor's office before the weekend and get him going on antibiotics. It took him a couple of days before he started to feel better, during which time he slept a lot.

Doesn't he just look like an angel when he is asleep?

Then on Monday morning I woke up feeling horrible! I was all achy with a stuffy head a yucky cough. Luckily I have not had a fever, so I am pretty sure it is just a head cold. You know, the kind that gives you a sinus headache for days on end? Blah.

I am finally starting to feel a little bit better. Of course, now it seems that my baby girl has caught the gunk. She have a lovely cough and her little nose is like a faucet.

She still manages to be mostly cheerful, running around the house in her pajamas, tutu, and mommy's shoes.

I am hoping that since Jonah was sick over Christmas, he won't get it again and then we can be DONE! I also hope that since Honey Daddy spends most of his time at work, maybe he can avoid getting sick too. Here's to hoping!

P.S. On the bright side, my dishwasher got fixed on Friday. Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!!!
