This week has been quite the wild weather week! Rain, snow and everything in between. I wanted to take a picture of the mountains behind my house for my landscape shot, and I ended up with a picture of snowy mountains and one with a rainbow. The snow was too dismal for Fall, so I chose the rainbow.
Color Wheel: Complementary/Triadic
This prompt was a bit of a challenge. It was not too hard to find complementary colors because you can find red and green everywhere, even in nature (like a red rose on a green bush). So I decided to go for triadic. I like the green, orange and purple- very Halloween.
Black and White
When I passed by this old Ford, I knew it would be perfect for a black and white shot. It was so old and faded that it didn't have much color to it anyway!
This is my baby girl having her first taste of real food (if you can call baby oatmeal food that is!). She loved it and kept wanting to grab the spoon, so I let her have it. Isn't she adorable?
The acorns are falling off the trees like crazy around here. I found this acorn cap alone on the sidewalk. Not only is there a lot of empty space in the shot, you can also see the "blank space" where the nut should be.
