The last time I hosted Eli's playgroup, I found Eli and his friend Clara "reading" books to each other. It was the cutest thing ever!
I love that my boys get along well with other kids. Being the librarian-mommy that I am, I especially love that they enjoy sharing books and stories.
But that's not the best part. My absolute favorite thing is how my boys love each other and enjoy playing together. It is not always smooth sailing, and the inevitable fights and misunderstandings crop up. However lately it seems there are more times when they cooperate with each other and have so much fun together. It makes my heart happy. I hope my boys will always be friends.
The other day I walked into the living room to find the boys quietly reading together with the "wall of books" they built on the coffee table. How cute is that?! I love these boys!
It's that kind of stuff that you will be so glad you've documented in a few years. The every day kind of things that make you smile but that you may not remember when they're teenagers and mad about having to read a certain book for school. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing that they not only get along with other kids, but with each other too!
Oh yes, days and times like that make you feel so good as a mom. Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteVery cool wall of books! They did a great job!
ReplyDeleteawwwwww... that is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI have a HUGE love for books as well, so I too get a kick out of watching my kids fall in love with them too :)
so there is hope in my future that my boys will get along again? love seeing your guys enjoy reading so much... it's so important, as you already know
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing that makes the heart happier than seeing that your children are so kind and loving to each other and others. Y'all must be doing a great job as parents.
ReplyDeleteYour books are in such great condition! Many of ours are not in photo condition. :)
The wall of books is adorable, but not as cute as two kids pouring over a book together! I love it!!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! Good books and good friends are priceless. It's wonderful that you are teaching your boys to appreciate both at such a young age. It's so important for siblings to understand that your brother (or sister) is your first best friend.
ReplyDeleteLove the wall of books. :-)
They are too cute and what great big bros they will be for their little sis! Reading rocks and those are great pictures and memories that you have captured.
ReplyDeleteThat's about as cute as it gets. Good for you for instilling such a love of books in them. What a great gift to give them.
ReplyDeletetoo cute indeed. love the wall of books- just awesome
