Your Mother Dresses You Funny

One nice thing about my baby boy getting older is that I don't have to change his diaper nearly as often as I used too. Hooray! After all, who enjoys changing diapers?

Of course we still do quite a few diaper changes each day and since Mommy is often busy or in a hurry, sometimes things don't quite get put back together correctly.

Can you tell what's wrong with this picture?

You got it... Eli's pants are on backwards! Since he is only two, still in diapers, and can't exactly dress himself, I think we all know who is to blame!

Seeing Eli running around with his pants on wrong totally cracked me up so I had to get out my camera. I was laughing even harder when Eli totally didn't understand that I wanted to take a picture of his rear end, so he kept looking right at me and saying "cheese!". My kids are too well-trained!

I don't feel too bad about putting the pants on wrong. It can happen so easily, especially with toddler's elastic waist pants. Even Jonah has made this mistake before! It wasn't until I realized that I did it again today that I started to wonder if perhaps I have pants-dyslexia or something. Haha!

  1. My kids dress themselves and they put their pants on the wrong way all the time. They don't seem to mind but it bothers me.

  4. Lol! Alex was wearing her shirt backwards yesterday as she wanted everyone to be able to see what was on it.. I guess people usually stand behind her.

  5. LOL! It took me a minute to figure out what was wrong with the picture. Cause he looked perfectly dressed to me. :)

Once you have zippers it is pretty hard to screw up.

  6. Pants dyslexia...heh.

I have to say, I love the picture, backward pants or not. There's just something about the way little ones sleep with their little bums in the air that makes me smile. :)

  7. LOL! I still do that all the time with poor Will (although mostly because he's trying to run from me & I am in a rush!)

  9. At least he's got clean clothes on and the diapers right. We can't expect to dress everyone perfectly ;)

  10. #3 recently started dressing himself and he does this all the time. Possibly that's because I messed him up by dressing him incorrectly so many times, but whatever. Now I just blame him and drag him around town with his tag poking him in the chin!

  11. That's the good thing when they're that little--it's still cute to wear your pants backwards. Plus you can always blame it on Daddy!

    That's funny :-)

  17. No. Blame the pants. They have no buttons are zippers at that size! The clothing manufacturers expect a tired parent chasing a toddler to be able to tell the difference?!

  23. That is so funny! I have indeed done this with Jonathan...or did when he was in diapers. Now I still do it sometimes....and one day he did it. We're a bit backwards in this family!
