As I was looking through last year's photos, I came across this photo of Jonah in his gorilla costume from last year. I just LOVE this picture, especially since Jonah was going through his "I don't want my picture taken" phase... and he actually has a ghost of a smile in the picture (go ahead, click it... you know you want to!).
The past week or so I have been staying up late working on our Halloween costumes for this year. The boys' costumes are done, mine is nearly finished, and Honey Daddy's is still a work in progress. We are doing a "Toy Story" theme. My boys will be Woody and Buzz, I am going to be Jessie and Honey Daddy will be Zurg. It should be absolutely fabulous... if I get it done on time!
What are you going to be for Halloween?

What a cutie!
ReplyDeleteYou will get it done in time! I just know it! LOVE the gorilla! He is a darling ferocious beast! : )
ReplyDeletevery cute and you're kiddos must be excited that you are all dressing up in theme this year.
ReplyDeleteBuddy was a frog last year, but the costume was HUGE on him at the time, and the label said for size 2 - 4. So he was going to be a frog again this year....
ReplyDeleteWell, the crotch is too tight, so that he can't walk with it on. I looked to see if I could alter it, but I don't think I can. So I goot figure something new out for him.
Chuck is still in a cast, but may have a walking cast by Halloween... so she's going to go as a peg leg pirate, since she already has the limp!!
I'm not seeing much of a smile, but it's still a beautiful picture. I love the squatting pose!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the completed costumes......I love your new profile picture. YOu hair is so cute in that shorter style!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I love the costume!
ReplyDeleteI love that all 4 of you are dressing up!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a neat costume! My kids would never, ever trust me to make a costume for them!
ReplyDeleteHe's so adorable!
ReplyDeleteHalloween is not celebrated in a big way here, mostly by the American expatriates. It's just like another day this weekend.
That is just too cute!
ReplyDeletethat is the cutest thing. I miss Halloween when my girls were little. My favorite photos almost always came from that day. If I were going to dress up I think I'd go as Kate Gosselin or Lady Gaga. But more likely, I'll just hang out in the sweats and hand out candy to the 300 plus trick or treaters we usually get!
ReplyDeletehe's such a cute gorilla! I hope he smiles for you this year too!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little guy! Love the costume! And thanks for the comment on my blog :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lot of work to make costumes but so much fun too! You'll get the last costume done in time. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute pic. It looks like he was just wandering through the forest.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great photo, and kudos to you for doing a whole family of costumes yourself!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the pictures! Your family themed costumes sound amazing. My husband is going as a skeleton groom (I hope this isn't a form of personal commentary for him). My 8-year old daughter is a gothic vampire, and my 4-year old is a sweet little monkey. I'll be donning my real vintage WWII red cross nurse uniform.
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!
