Hooray for green and hooray for spring! We even planted our early spring crop of peas and lettuce, since they do well in slightly chilly weather. We are looking forward to planting the rest of our garden in the coming months. I just love picking and eating tomatoes, peppers, and berries... especially ones that we grew ourselves. They taste SO good!
Thinking about our lovely garden from last year reminded me of this picture. Apparently I am not the only one who enjoys veggies fresh from the garden.
I remember last year how much Jonah wanted to eat this green pepper right after we picked it. I snapped this photo at just the right moment, and it still cracks me up.
I hope you are enjoying some green too. If not, click on the button below to see some more green... and faces of course.
What a fun green picture!
ReplyDeleteHe is so cute : ). Did you let him eat the pepper? It provided such a lovely pop of green in the picture. Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! I could almost taste that pepper! My daughter loves to eat raw, uncooked peppers! We keep them stocked.

ReplyDeleteHey, I fit right in ~ I'm GREEN with envy!!! We're still 7-8 weeks away from being able to plant the frost-resistant veggies!!
ReplyDeleteI DO love fresh, homegrown garden produce (just not the actual gardening ~ fortunately, my husband does!) and I can hardly wait. Guess we'll just wait a little longer!
Oh how I wish it was getting green around here! It is still white!

ReplyDeleteHilarious! Great use of green for this week's challenge! What a fun shot.
ReplyDeleteGreen, green, green. And cute faces. I remember many an Easter in Utah while the kids were growing up when we would take their Easter pictures next to my daffodils. Half the time, the flowers were poking their heads through a late and unexpected 3 inches of snow!
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable! Love it!
ReplyDeletenot much green here, so thanks for the photos..

ReplyDeleteI am with you. I can't wait!!!
ReplyDeleteWe are so loving the weather. Did he actually eat the pepper, straight up?
ReplyDeleteAhhhh! What a sweet shot!! I'm going to be growing some veggies in tubs on my back porch this year. We aren't allowed to dig up the grass for gardens, so I have to use special breeds for pots/tubs. But I WILL have fresh veggies finally!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable photo! I have some little green things popping up in my garden. Too exciting!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a wonderful picture! I would have wanted to eat that pepper too. It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture. We're gardening for the first time this year. I can't wait to get started. Peppers is definitely one of the main things I hope to work out.
