Are You Sure This Won't Fit
Under the Tree, Mommy?

About a block and a half from our house they are in the process of constructing a new church building. This means that there are excavators and tractors and all kinds of construction equipment that I don't know the names for! Needless to say my two-year-old is in heaven.

Consequently we have to go on a walk nearly every day to see the progress they are making and check out what equipment is on the site. Here is a picture of Jonah from earlier in the week. He LOVED this excavator and wanted to "get closer".

Can I drive it, Mommy?

A day or so later we spied this ginormous thingamajig (Do YOU know what it is?). Just look at the little boy and the HUGE... um, whatever. I am pretty sure Jonah would LOVE it if we could just take this sucker home!

Sorry buddy... I don't think that will fit under the Christmas tree!

  15. Those picture are great! To be honest, I never caught the construction equipment bug as a kid, but I think I'm the exception.
You could just park it in the back yard, with a big red bow on it. I'm sure your son would be just fine with that.

  19. My boys loved the big trucks, too, when they were little. Still do, probably. The vehicle says CAT on the side, but I can't remember what that stands for. Such a precious picture of your little tiny guy next to it.

  27. It's a grader. I have been educated in construction vehicles. Having 4 boys, well you have to know the names of them all.

  28. Those are cute pictures! Your little one looks to be in total awe. Isn't it funny how little boys develope the addiction to BIG toys so early on.

  42. It starts so young with boys. :) How sweet! My boys were always enamored with the Ukes (HUGE dumptrucks, like the tires are way taller than me) at the caves in our old town.
