Curse that Halloween Candy

I am happy to report that I have been SO good with my exercising this week! I have cycled on my bike trainer every day since Monday. That means that I have cycled around 40 miles this week. Yay me!

The bad news is that I have probably had too much chocolate this week. I have been trying to stay away from the Halloween candy, but I've probably had at least one piece a day (but less than 3, I swear!). It seems that the little bit of candy I've had and all the exercise leveled out. Dang it!

Weight: the same
Goal: 1 pound next week

Since most of you missed me last week because I was so late, I am going to repeat myself a little. I have decided that I like Natalie's approach. She told me that she goes for a pound a week because it is an attainable goal. So that is what I am going to try to do (even though I didn't manage that this week!).

I was a tad disappointed that there was no Biggest Loser this week... something about an election or something? So did you catch the Biggest Loser the week before? I only caught the last hour, and I was SO sad that the black team lost the challenge. I knew they would probably lose and that they would send Phil home. Ah well... maybe next week's show will be more fun for me.

I was excited by the teaser for the next show! I am so excited that it will be individuals now! Maybe everyone else can get rid of the Terrible Trifecta (Heba, Brady, and Vicky)! I am also wondering if all the other contestants come back to stay... or if it is just the biggest losers amongst them... or something else entirely. Who knows?

How did you do this week?

  1. We gave the halloween candy to my husband's work. hahahah! but not before i snagged a couplea minihersheybars. anyway, that's great on the maintenance!! You did a ton of exercise this week, our bodies don't always see the progress within our weigh-in time frame anyway! i'll bet you have a big loss next week! that's a ton of riding!

  2. Oh I don't like Heba, Brady & Vicki. They cause way too many problems! Poor Phil. Anyway - at least you didn't gain!! Good job on the exercising. That is great! Keep it up!

  3. I have been trying to do better myself! That Halloween candy sure showed up on me, YIKES :)

  4. WIth all of that extra exercise you probably put on a pound of muscle!! So great to hear you are doing this and blogging about it because it inspires so many more of us! I have a blog that might aid as you're striving to be healthier. It's called I'd love to have you as a follower! The Biggest Loser was on this week...McCain. Wah!

  5. I'm right there with change this week. But hey, it's better than gaining!!!! Next week we are bound to be losers!!!!!

  6. hey no weight gain is a good thing! :)

    have a great weekend!

  7. I know what you mean about halloween candy!! It has been dangerous to have around friend wrote this great article though on things to do with the candy-- lots of good ideas!!

  8. I love it... the "terrible trifecta"! i really do hope that one of them go home next...i actually hope to see vicki go! agh. i can't wait for tuesday to see what is going to happen!

I lost 0.8 this week. I keep track of my losses and that way I can see what I am averaging. you have bad weeks and good weeks and if you are averaging a loss then you are on the right track!!!!

i hope you have a big loss this next week!
