Golden
{linked to Macro Monday}
This week I noticed some very small, bright yellow eggs on our tree out front. My son told me that he thought they were ladybug eggs. Then this evening when I went out to take a picture of the eggs, I did notice several ladybugs on the tree. One of them pretty much confirmed his hypothesis.I was amazed to discover that one of the ladybugs was actually laying eggs. How cool is that?
Bloom
Right now all the lilacs near my home are in bloom, and they smell good and look good too!
Dark
This week we have had several storms roll through, including some thunderstorms. Here is a bank of dark clouds rolling over the valley just after sunset.
Local
I live in a beautiful area! We have gorgeous mountains as well as a lake nearby. I wanted to drive down and take a picture by the lake, but the road was closed. So I drove up on the east benches and took a picture of part of the valley. I also couldn't resist taking pictures of the local plants right where I stood.
Wow, that ladybug and her eggs is amazing. Happy mothers day to her!
ReplyDeleteYou perfectly captured the lilacs - mine are lovely right now too and I'm really enjoying them!
