Scavenger Hunt Sunday {10.7.12}

Shadow
{linked up to Your Sunday Best}

I had so much fun with this prompt. I call this picture, "Look Mom, No Boy!" and in case you can't tell it is a composite of two images. My son thought it was funny when he watched me "erase" him right out of the picture!

Keys

Well, the last time we did this prompt I did typewrite keys and I am pretty sure I have already done piano keys. So I was at the end of my creativity for this prompt. So here are my little girl's plastic keys. She doesn't really play with them much anymore, so I guess it's time to put them away.

Smile
{Linked up to Sunday Snapshot}

I was so excited this week when I actually managed to capture my baby girl's cute smile! She is such a happy girl, but you wouldn't know it when I get out my camera.

Unedited

I am pretty sure these tiny flowers are a weed because they grow uncultivated all over around here. Even if they are a weed, I still think they are pretty.

Sorry for the second picture, but I had to share! These two pictures show the difference in temperatures we have had here. This morning at my son's soccer game there was actually frost on the field. Brrrr!!!

Spice

I actually had to go and buy cinnamon sticks for this prompt because I couldn't think of anything else. The spices in my cupboard are not really photogenic. So now you tell me, what can I make with a bunch of cinnamon sticks?

  12. Oh love your shadow shot, great idea. Your little girl is a definite cutie patootie, such a cute smile. And cinnamon sticks, use them in hot cider or even in a cup of coffee or tea. You can grate them and use them for regular cinnamon. Lots of ways!!

Use the cinnamon sticks for boiling in water... room fragrance! =) apparently you can put the boiled water/sticks in a jar at the end of the day.. and reuse/boil for up to 2 weeks!! =) add some vanilla... lemon... rosemary... apples (though you won't be able to reuse those)... =) be sure and tell us next week what you did with them! he he
