Scavenger Hunt Sunday {2•26•12}

Crossed
Initially I was taking pictures of this power pole with the intention of using the picture for the prompt "gray", but then I looked up and knew that it was perfect for crossed.

A Glimpse
I had no idea what I was going to do for this prompt... until Miss Aubrey discovered that she could crawl in the space between the wall and the couch this morning. She kept going back and forth down her little tunnel while I took pictures. I don't want to teach her bad habits though, so now I have blocked access to the back of the couch.

Handwritten

Originally I planned to photograph graffiti for this prompt, or go down to the lake and write in the sand. I could not find any graffiti that I found interesting enough to photograph, and there was a giant windstorm today which made going to the lake sound less than pleasant.

So you get our craft from preschool this week. We made monsters by using paint to make inkblots. Then we decorated them with googly eyes, stickers, and pom-poms. I think Eli's monster turned out pretty cool, and as you can see, I wrote on the bottom of the picture.

Bliss

What could be more blissful than an accidental nap? This is my almost-four-year-old, who refuses to nap most of the time. So when he went in his room to pout and fell asleep, it was definitely a moment of bliss for me!

Gray

I love that although I live in the city, you can still find occasional remnants of the country like this silo. It reminds me of growing up in Wyoming and makes me feel at home!
