It wasn't a very big storm and as the day got warmer, the snow got wetter. When we went to pick Jonah up from Kindergarten he told me he was disappointed that the snow was all melted. So I told him that there was still a little snow on the driveway that he could shovel if he wanted. He was so excited! The minute we got home he had me get out his shovel so he could get to work!
You would not believe how fast the boys were running back and forth on the driveway! They were having such fun!
It was actually nice that the boys shoveled so our driveway would get clean and dry. Goodness knows Honey Daddy would not have enough time to do it!
you can only hope that they love to shoveling this much when they are teenagers. but they got to burn off energy and calories doing it. soon you'll have to buy a 3rd shovel (o:
ReplyDeleteYAY for shoveling snow. They look like they are having a good time doing it! I actually love it for 2 reasons- 1 is that we hardly ever get snow- so if I am shoveling- it means we received a fair amount & I am happy. And 2 is- do you know that one can burn like 200-300 calories in 30 min of shoveling snow?? I would do it every day if I could.
ReplyDeletelove this!!! I can tell you are used to the cold weather... if those were Californians shoveling snow, we would be wearing more than a sweatshirt! ha! ha!
ReplyDeleteAww... I love how excited they seem about it...
