Scavenger Hunt Sunday #11

Macro
I found this little dandelion fluff in my neighbor's yard. It is getting below freezing here at night, so there aren't many left. I am glad I found this one because it makes a nice macro!

Found Texture

I found an old vacant home not far from our house that had the greatest colors and textures! I used the doors of the garage and the house for pictures of my kids in their applique ghost shirts. I will probably be returning to this location for pictures again because I LOVE it!

Home
I grew up in the mountains of Wyoming and Idaho. I am currently blessed to call the mountains of Utah my home (specifically Mount Timpanogos). No matter where I go, the mountains will always be "home" to me.

Cover
The leaves are finally dropping from the trees, so I went on a walk and took a picture of this lawn covered with maple leaves.

The Tree

I was so excited when I saw this prompt because I have TONS of tree pictures! Every day for the past month and a half I have been taking a picture of the same tree as we drive home from Kindergarten. I wanted to be able to show the kids how the tree has changed over time. So the first picture is the tree in September, and the second picture is the tree just yesterday.
