You Capture: Back to school or Summer Sunsets

Since this year we have a Kindergartener, "back to school" actually has some meaning for us! For one thing, it is the first time that Jonah has ever really had homework. I have to say, that so far his homework is pretty fun!

Jonah's assignment this week was to decorate a Gingerbread man. The teacher said to be creative so I got out all the crafting supplies, and the boys went crazy (as you can see from the mess on the table!). Jonah's gingerbread man is the one on the left, and his three-year-old brother's is on the right. We had to print one for Eli to decorate so he didn't feel left out. Don't you think they turned out great?!

This week I actually managed to pull off both prompts... sort of. Here are the west mountains as the sun was setting last night. I was working at the library last night, so the west mountains are all you get!

There is nothing quite like pink and purple mountains!

  2. Who could as for more than your 'west mountains'? What a beautiful shot. But I have to say my favorite is the first one. I love your colorful take on back-to-school! And yes, the boys did a great job indeed.
