Don't Bug Me, I'm Napping!

The boys have spotted some interesting six-legged critters roaming around recently (outside the house, thank heavens!). They are fascinated with bugs and love it when I take pictures so they can look at them again later. I don't particularly care for bugs, but when you have boys you do what you gotta do!

 Besides, I think the pictures turned out pretty well, don't you?


This grasshopper was kind enough to hold still for a while as I crept up on him and took his picture.


Then today as we were leaving for Kindergarten we spotted this cool leaf bug. We were almost late for school because we had to ogle this bug. He is pretty cool, don't you think?



And for those of you who don't care for bugs (like me), here is a picture of my baby girl sleeping soundly. This little ladybug is much cuter than those other bugs!

    aw she is cute! Great shots of the bugs though. I have a caterpillar that has latched on (hopefully to form his caccoon) on our front door frame. :) My pics won't be as good but I'm going to try to catch all the stages.

    those are really great pictures of the bugs, they do give you a great photo subject, and yes your little lady is much cuter than a bug

    Those are all amazing shots! I would have ogled that leaf bug, too. :) And the last one is the cutest little lady bug ever! :)

    Great bug pictures - and what a sweet sleeping baby picture. My baby boy likes to sleep on his belly, so I never get to capture a moment like this, just sprawled out and sleeping hard. Love it!

    I'm like you...I don't enjoy bugs, but now that I have a boy, I find myself seeking them out! Uhg. I actually really like the grasshopper shot (second one I think). such great detail in their coloring. And who wouldn't love a picture of a sweet little angel napping?? Have a great day.
