Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Low Key
When I saw the first scavenger hunt item last week, I did not actually know what low key photography was! So I looked it up and found a tutorial on how to take low key photographs. After much trial and error, this is what I came up with. I learned something new and have to say that I am proud of how the photo turned out!

Monochromatic/Analogous color

I love this set of weathered doors. I have taken my boys' photographs here before. I love that even the hinge is brown/orange with rust.

Circle
This week for our cooperative preschool, I read the very hungry caterpillar and we made circle caterpillars using cups. Since we had leftover paint, I let my boys go crazy painting tons of circles with the cups. I love the way their little art project turned out!

Scarf

I have a confession.... I don't think I actually own a scarf! So while I was out shopping, I took this photo of some scarves on sale. Maybe I should get a scarf, but then I would have to figure out how to wear it!

Phone
How many phones can you find in this picture?

Would you believe that only two of these phones are currently in use, and one of them is the baby phone?! One of the phones pictured is the phone I currently use. Otherwise, this is our pile of old cell phones on top of all the spare batteries, chargers, and cases we have used in the past 10 years. Would you believe that there are 12 phones in this picture? Along with 7 cases, 6 wall chargers, 5 car chargers, 5 belt clips, 4 spare batteries and 2 dock-style chargers. Phew!

  19. We have a slightly smaller pile of phones than that, only because we've given some away, or broken and thrown them out :0( Love your set by the way!
