We have had way TOO much cloudy, cold and rainy weather in the past week. It's driving me crazy! Whatever happened to Spring? Just when its supposed to warm up and the boys really want to play outside, the weather gets all nasty.
So what do you do when the weather is yucky and your kids are going stir-crazy?
Here at the Honey House we:
Do things we are not normally supposed to, like jumping off the bed. Not only does Mommy not get mad, she takes pictures!
Practice making faces and then demand that Mommy take pictures of you. After all, Mommy probably doesn't have anything more interesting to take pictures of, right?!
Make a fort and spend the afternoon in there so Mommy and Daddy can pretend that we are no longer inside the house, driving them nuts.
Spend some quality time in the bathtub. Have SO much fun that you have to just laugh yourself silly!
What a great way to spend a rainy day. :)
ReplyDeleteMaking forts was one of my favorite things to do when I was a kid.

what adorable pictures. this not-so-spring weather has been wearing on us too.
ReplyDeletethe middle picture with your son pulling on his ears reminded me of an elder in the mtc. make sure he keeps those flexible ears - they are great for a break from all day lessons :)
very fun activities - especially the fort.
