A Mommy's Work is Never Done!

I could sure use a nap! Just a few minutes ago I was wondering to myself why the day was only half over, yet I was already exhausted.

Then I thought about what I have already done today:

*Get up and get dressed
*Feed little people breakfast
*Clean up kitchen
*Start a load of laundry
*Ride 10 miles on exercise bike (a little over 1/2 hour)
*Start the dryer and another load of laundry
*Take a quick shower
*Throw on some clothes
*Get Honey' Daddy's shirts out of the dryer and hang so they aren't too wrinkly
*Put socks, shoes, jackets, etc on the little people
*Run out the door to music class
*Sing, Dance and run around for an hour
*Go grocery shopping
*Drive home and unload the groceries
*Make lunch for the little people while unpacking the groceries
*Clean up the kitchen
*Put Eli down for his nap
*Start another load of laundry

Whew! No wonder I'm tired!

Too bad I won't get a nap. Now I get to work at my online job for a little while. I will probably finish shortly before I'll have to go get dinner started.

The good news is that we are going to hang out with some friends for a little while tonight. So all that dry laundry may have to wait until tomorrow to get folded. :o)

  2. Wow your day sounds alot like mine, except I get to put my little people on a bus to school and that leaves me with one who is 17. Now he can have his days when the mood swings take over.

  8. Isn't it amazing when you look back at think about everything you've done, how much you've accomplished? I always try to do that at the end of the day, especially when I feel like I didn't get much done that day. It's usually an eye-opener!
