I have been taking walks nearly every morning with my boys. I put them in the double stroller, strap on my camera, and off we go!
I love getting out in the fresh air! It is finally cool enough that I don't melt, and the boys like seeing new sights. Each day we walk is like a mini photo safari for me.
Just last week I saw some more bees, trying to get their buzzness done before winter comes. Either I was feeling more brave, or the bees were too busy to scare me... so I managed some of the best macros I have ever taken.
I love that you can see the bee's wings, eyes, legs, knees... everything! Who knew up close they are so beautiful?
It's a good thing the old adage is generally true. If you leave them alone, they'll leave you alone! I'm glad they don't really mind having their pictures taken. :o)
it is the best that they actually have knees, sort of. great shots.
ReplyDeleteWoW...how BEEUTIFUL! Lovin the bees from a distance far away :)

ReplyDeleteThese are really nice macros!
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to get bees. They just want to move and be busy all the time. :)
Wow, you are brave and those are some beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteI love pictures of bees. We have citrus trees in our yard and, in the spring, they're full of bees gathering pollen. They're almost in a blind frenzy and have no idea I'm there with my camera. They're amazing creatures. Beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures...but bees still creep me out.
ReplyDeleteI love flower/insect pictures! These ones are great!! The second one is particularly good.
ReplyDeleteGlad no one got stung - very pretty - hmm, where do bees go in the winter?
ReplyDelete'Who knew that up close they were this beautiful?'
ReplyDeleteMe! Me! I did!! I LOVE taking macro shots of insects! They are incredible up close. Sometimes they remind me of little lego animals, with their shiny hard bodies, sometimes you can see where stories of fairies came from. :)
Lovely pictures - well done!
sweet shot!
ReplyDeleteBees are beautiful close up. Your shots are amazing. And if you get out on a walk everyday with your two kids I am totally impressed! I really need to do that and I've only got one at home durning the day and I still don't get out.
