Here are a few that I took recently while I was at my parent's house in Wyoming that I thought turned out really nicely.
I don't even know what kind of plant this is. Probably some kind of weed, but I still thought it was beautiful in it's own way. It was reminiscent of a dandelion, but much bigger.
How was that for my first attempt at Macro Monday?
Those are lovely!! I love the airy look of dandelion seeds - you captured them wonderfully!!
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful even if they are a weed and you showed them very well. You don't need a macro lens, the one you have seems to do the job well (I will admit, though, that macros and tripod can give amazing results.)
ReplyDeleteVery nice...considering how much I hate those fluffy nuisances.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty good for not having a Macro lens!
ReplyDeleteGreat job!
ReplyDeleteMy oldest son calls these "blowies". He loves them.
Oh great job..love the "fluffy". Beautiful Macros! I'm kinda new too!! Nice to meet ya!! Lovely work!!

Wonderful! I took some shots of this kind of plant awhile back too. It was HUGE and like the size of a large softball! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou did wonderful and I am so glad you joined in to play! I don't have anything this week, but I hope to jump back in next week.
those are some really great photos!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The first one is my favorite, that blue sky is wonderful. I would have guessed these were dandelions, but I don't have a second guess if you say that's not it...
ReplyDeleteGreat Shots!!!
ReplyDeleteI am new to Macro Monday, and to blogging for that matter as well.
Makes me want to blow. :)
ReplyDeleteThey look great! I've always loved to blow these into the wind. :)
ReplyDeleteI want to get a macro lens, too, hopefully one of these days!
You won a copy of a book over at my blog (YAY!). Just send me your mailing address as soon as you can and I'll get it out to you. Thanks for entering!

wonderful seed pods!
ReplyDeleteNice shots! I love photographing the dandelion seeds. They are so intricate.
ReplyDeleteI'd love a macro lens but for now the macro setting on my camera has to do. :)
