Hard Hat Area

So what do you do for fun with your kids? I am pretty sure that boys enjoy some things that might not interest little girls. Since I live in a house of boys, here at the Honey House we often take walks to the construction site near our home where they are building a church. Jonah and Eli love to watch all the construction equipment and the men working.

Even more than than watching the equipment, Jonah loves the times that we visit the construction site after hours to let him check out all the equipment up close. It must be something like little boy heaven.

Even if your silly parents make you stand in places for pictures that you might not necessarily want to be.

Check out who else is feeling Wordful.

Or if you'd rather, you can go Wordless (always tough for me!)

  11. Ah, little boy heaven indeed!! My girls ~ especially the younger one ~ loves heavy equipment, too. Her daddy, being the owner of a few semi-trucks, is quite proud and continues to encourage her to get her professional driver licence when she's 18!! (she's almost 5 now!) She certainly can't seem to get enough truck time.

  13. It's a favorite of boys - construction machines of any kind. I got kinda hooked on them, too, after watching them through three boys!

  24. That is every boy's dream. We are no stranger to construction trucks either and have been know to park by building sites just to watch, lol. We also have lots of videos on the subject, ie "I Dig Dirt." My boys love them, but my daughter watches too.
