Jonah has the cutest little friend that he just loves to play with. She is four years old, and I absolutely adore her. This afternoon we were cordially invited to attend a knight and princess party at her house. All of the girls got to wear tiaras and my boys got their own knight masks.
I can't think of a better way to spend a cold, cloudy afternoon. Don't we look fabulous?!
Just for kicks I tried to put my princess crown on Jonah. You can see from the photo just how well that went over!
What a fun party! I'm sure your husband was thrilled to see the photo of your little guy taking off the tiara. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!! How cute was that! I wish I was such a clever parent like that.
ReplyDeleteSounds way fun!! Love the pics!
ReplyDeleteHey, boys can wear crowns. :)
ReplyDeleteI adore the photos and indeed the crown and the prince in armor.
ReplyDeleteADORABLE WW! I stayed up way to late blogging. Will definatly pay for that one today! Have a great day :)

Awww how cute what a fun neighbor you have!
ReplyDeleteI have to share a story of a tea party I hosted for my daughter and her friends when she was 4. She really wanted to invite the one little boy on the street so I told all to come in their favorite dress up clothes. All the little girls came in princess garb and then in walks Joseph in his daddy's army shirt and hat. He took off his hat and said just as sweet as can be "evening ladies"
Let me tell you he may have enjoyed the tea party most! He served all the girls their "tea" white grape juice!
what a fun idea, but I think he looked a lot happier as a knight than with a tiara
ReplyDeleteWay fun!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm celebrating a 40th birthday today...come see who is the big four oh!!
Have a great Wednesday.
so much fun!! I had a pirate and princess party for my daughter on her 4th - it was a blast!
ReplyDeleteHe wasn't having ANY of that nonsense.
ReplyDeleteSweet idea!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great party theme! He definitely makes a better knight than a princess!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!
Oh how cute.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute idea for a party! Fun photos, looks like he's not having that tiara at all. LOL.
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute! Love the tiara picture!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! What a fun mommy you are!
ReplyDeletehappy WW!
What a fun party I bet that was. He doesn't look half bad in a tiara - he's just so stinkin' cute no matter what! : )
ReplyDeleteWe had a King and Queen birthday party one year and it was so fun!
ReplyDeleteCute picture! My boys loved all that stuff. BTW, is there a place that tells you how to put the name of your blog on your pictures? I'd like to know how to do that.
ReplyDeleteFabulous! I especially love parties at that age...kids can be so imaginative!
ReplyDeleteThat party sounds like a ton of fun. What's even more fun than when your son realizes he's not a girl is the day he realizes that you ARE.
ReplyDeleteMy son swore up and down for a good long time I wasn't a girl until one day he saw the light. Poor boy almost passed out on me when he saw me curling my hair. "(Giant gasp)Mom, you're a GIRLIE!"
It's funny how those boy genes shine through from such an early age!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the picture of Jonah - too funny! Your husband would be proud!
ReplyDeletetoo funny and VERY cute!
ReplyDeleteThat fussy look on his face is priceless!
ReplyDeleteI would do the same although hubby wouldn't be impressed LOL!
