Yet Another Jay and Deb Production.
This week I would like to give a shout out to my wonderful, fantastic snow removal team. It's that time of year again where it seems that every other day we get a new batch of white stuff dumped upon us.
Honey Daddy and Jonah are tireless in their efforts to remove every last bit of snow from my enormous driveway. Honey Daddy grew up in Arizona and is intolerant of pavement that is not clean and clear. Jonah just enjoys being outside, helping Daddy shovel. They both do a really great job!
Can you believe my two year old has his own shovel?
Are we done yet?
Here is a picture of him on top of the other snowbank after a big storm this year. He actually climbed up there all by himself!January and February are not my favorite months. There is not enough sun and too much snow! I guess I can at least be grateful that I don't have to slip around in the ice and snow because of my enthusiastic snow removal crew.
Thanks guys!
Just as a fun photo comparison, here is a picture of Jonah from last year in our snowbank after a big storm.
Thanks guys!

ReplyDeleteGreat work! Kids do make the mundane tasks more enjoyable. It's new to them--and often fun!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, what great help! Are they cheap???
ReplyDeleteLOL Oh man...what fun!! If we get snow here this year we will be building the world's first 4 inch snowman...that melts as soon as he is built.
ReplyDeleteAm I really complaining about not getting dumped on every year??
Great post, Honey!!
They are great at what they do!! Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteYea for the snow removal team! Cute pictures.
ReplyDeleteon first glance, i am very jealous! we have been crossing our fingers for snow for weeks! however, it is easy to forget about all the work involved (especially since i am not a member of our snow removal team)!
ReplyDeleteyour crew deserves hugs and kisses, and maybe some cocoa!

what a big job at least your husband now has a helper (well for a few years anyway!)
ReplyDeleteHi. You commented before me at SITS, so I thought I'd stop in. I to am from Utah, and I'm with you. January and Februrary are killers!! Stay busy, and keep crafting we'll get through it. You have a cute family. Thanks for having me by. I'll be back soon!
ReplyDeleteYay for such a great team! We have spent a lot of time in Arizona and Hubby even lived there for awhile...I SO KNOW WHAT you mean about clean pavement. Could their gas station floors be any cleaner!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteget.a.snow.blower for your man!! No more shovels will be needed!
ReplyDeleteLove your post! We all do the same thing, although we have 5 shovels and six people so it gets a little silly here! How many memories the two of them are making! Very Cool!
ReplyDeleteSnow removal team? What's that? LOL!
ReplyDeleteGreat TT!
I wish I had a snow removal team! LOL! My kids love the snow, but to work in it at all...my daughter says to me "Mom, haven't you ever heard of child labor laws?!" What, where did that come from?! She's 12, now she's researching CLL's?! Oh good grief!
ReplyDeleteGlad Jonah's enthusiasm makes snow better for you.
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty but when you have that much it could be a pain!
Wow! They deserve a HUGE award. Check out all that snow they shoveled! What a GREAT job!
ReplyDeleteGeez! That's a lot of snow! I don't think I will see snow this year. Boo. Hiss.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your pixes! But have to say, I'm a tad sick of the snow around here. Wanna send your Snow Removal Team over to my neck o' the woods? Pretty please?

ReplyDeleteWish your guys would have been around my place a few weeks ago. I do not recommend shoveling snow with a regular old shovel...it sucks.
