Thanks Santa!

A month ago I petitioned the Tooth Fairy to help little Eli's teeth come in. I was uncertain as to whether I should ask her for help, or just go straight to Santa Claus. Well, the Tooth Fairy must have passed my request along because the day before Christmas we discovered that Santa had granted our Christmas wish. Both front teeth had finally broken through the gums!

Look Mom! My two front teeth!

Isn't it wonderful that for his first Christmas little Eli got what he really wanted?! Merry Christmas little guy!

We had a great Christmas and we hope you did too!

  1. We're losing teeth at our house this Christmas -- the tooth fairy and Santa Claus showed up together Wednesday night.

Great pictures -- I love that hat!

  6. Thanks for the visit and the comment. Like the song says: ``All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth''.

  8. I can remember this happening to our five children. Now the oldest is 52 and then 51 and 50 and 47 and 35. Imagine that.

I have a number of photos of them posted on My Birds Blog.

This is the time we give up something that was an important part of our lives for something new and entirely unknown -- 2009.

Happy New Year to you and to your family from Patty and Abe.

  14. That teething is just horrible! I am glad his teeth broke through finally. Landon broke his 7th tooth a few days ago & we are working on an 8th tooth now. I can't believe it! It's never ending!
