Horizon
We had an incredibly cloudy week, so most of the time there was no horizon to be seen. We did see the sun one day, so I ran out and snapped a few pictures. The first one is Utah Lake, which is on our western horizon and the other is Mount Timpanogos, which dominates our eastern horizon.
Sharp
These leaves have some pretty sharp edges, don't you think?
Leather
I have several purses that my father-in-law made for me. I love the intricate carving and stamping that went into the designs on the leather. I often get compliments on my purses!
Blue
This is my daughter's Bear-Bear. He came along with us when we worked on getting some pictures of the kid's done. His blue bow is VERY important. My daughter likes to stroke the tails of the bow when she is going to sleep. The bow came untied a while back, which was a minor crisis. Thankfully I retied it and sewed the ribbon together so the bow stays tied.
Diagonal Lines
It was a cold and windy day here today. While we were driving around I spotted a whole flock of birds sitting on the telephone wires. So I had my husband stop and let me take a picture.
Blessed
This week's Songography prompt is the song "Blessed" by Martina McBride. I am so blessed to have these three beautiful children in my life! I love them so.
They bless my life in so many ways!

YOUR CHILDREN ARE SO BEAUTIFUL, and yes, having these precious children is such a wonderful thing to be blesssed with! I loved the time when my children were this age, and have wonderful memories of this. Now, i still love my time with them when they are grown up! Relationships for a lifetime
ReplyDeleteAmazing pictures across the board - and boy do you have a little model in the making with missy. My daughter carried a little stuffed lion to the point when you picked it up, all the filling would fall to the other end and its mane so rubbed down it is but an approximation of its previous self. The bow went missing so long ago I barely remember the crisis its escape created - but every time I venture into her room to put something away I see that tiny lion among the keepsakes and the only way to describe it is LOVED.
ReplyDeleteWow...your three are certainly cut from the same mold! No denying they are family :). I miss when mine were little like that. Time passes waaaaay too quickly, every moment is a blessing. Thanks for joining in on Song-ography, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteyour view is breathtaking! I need to move near some mountains
ReplyDeleteAh! These are beautiful, and charming and your sharp is truly awesome!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet family. Wow I can see how much your kiddo's are growing just from viewing their pictures as you post them. It is a joy to watch them grow-up even if it happens quicker then we'd like for it to happen.
ReplyDeleteStunning Horizon views. I liked the simplicity of the Sharp shot, it's lovely. Great leather work., How sweet about the Teddy Bear and the bow, glad you solved the problem of the bow coming untied. Cool birds on diagonal wires. How sweet of your hubby to stop so you could get the picture.
Oh what a sweet, sweet family you have. Each one cuter than the other....you are blessed. Love those purses your father-in-law makes, so talented. Great group of images!!
ReplyDeleteYour photo set this week is stunning. You & your husband are definitely blessed with three adorable children! It's amazing that you were able to capture them all in similar poses.
ReplyDeleteThe photo I love the most... The position of the bear sitting against the fence, with glimpses of light shining through the fence & then your story of losing the blue ribbon. Lovely!
Oh my, the kids are getting so big! Love all of your pictures!!
