What I did on my Christmas Vacation

Hello!

It's about time I got back to blogging after my Christmas vacation, don't you think? This year was the first time that we were home for Christmas, so I was determined to enjoy every minute of it! I was having SO much fun that I just couldn't tear myself away to blog about it!

So what exactly did we do over the Christmas break? Since I can't possibly tell you about everything we did, I will give you a brief rundown of the highlights:

We shoveled the snow.
 We built a snowman!

We made yummy gingerbread cookies for Santa.

(I actually got in front of the camera for a second to prove I was actually there!)

We went sledding for the very first time

 We left cookies for Santa

and admired our beautiful Christmas tree in the dark.

We were SO excited Santa came and we opened lots of presents.

We played with fun new toys,

and spent the entire day in our pajamas.

We shoveled the snow (again!)

and went sledding,
again,

and AGAIN!

We actually went sledding four times during Christmas break! Apparently it is our new family hobby.

We watched the Christmas tree train one last time before putting it (and the tree) away.

And we welcomed the New Year (by going sledding, of course!)

Christmas break was awesome! I was almost sad that it had to come to an end and we had to get back to our regular routine of school and work. Luckily I get to spend every day with my beautiful family, taking care of my kids. I can't think of a better place to be!
