Machine
Originally for this prompt I was looking for a something mechanical; a machine with gears and moving parts. Then I realized that the machines that I use most every day are computers. Even my household appliances have computers inside of them! When I downloaded this image onto my computer, as an added bonus I noticed that my circuit board has a bug on it... literally!
Signs or Logos
Sammy's is a local cafe that I drive by fairly often. They have the most colorful and fun signs! I especially enjoy seeing their bright yellow "fruit" vans that are awesome moving advertisements.
Rocks or Stones

Doesn't every boy have a rock collection at some point? This is my son Jonah showing off the rocks in his collection. Luckily he doesn't have too many... yet!
Sparkle
{Linked to Your Sunday Best}
We had some wet and wild weather this week. It actually snowed, which doesn't usually happen in October! Yesterday morning when I went outside I noticed that our roses had pretty heavy frost on them. So I got out my macro filters to see if I could capture the sparkle of the ice crystals. This was the best I could do without an actual macro lens.
Great interpretations this week. That last shot is amazing!
ReplyDeleteOkay, your pattern photo, at first I thought it was one of those cloth braided baskets (the bottome of it) until you mentioned the seeds - how cool! And your sparkle shot is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteSuper set. Love your Pattern shot of the Sunflower seed.

Machine is great, especially with the "bug" edition!

ReplyDeleteLove the pics! I think your sparkles great. Have you ever tried the trick where you turn your 50mm lens arou d backwards and it'll work as a macro? It's kind of fun to play around with and I've gotten some pretty decent shots that way! Sorry for the typos, I'm on my phone and it's not cooperating.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots - I'm surprised the birds haven't eaten all of those seeds!
