Check out these pictures that my sister took during a recent thunderstorm in Logan.
When I saw these shots I was in awe! She has a similar camera to mine, but I have never managed to capture lightening. I am extremely jealous because it is something I have always wanted to do!
We just never seem to get enough lightening to justify going out in the rain, and there isn't really a clear view from my house. At least my sister was kind enough to let me post these awesome pictures!
My sister told me that she and her husband were standing outside in the rain under an umbrella taking these shots, all the while hoping they were not holding a lightening rod!
Maybe I don't mind so much after all that I am not the one who braved the elements to take these pictures! Thanks sis!
Linked up to Wordful Wednesday, Wordish Wednesday, and Wordless Wednesdays all over.
Holy cow! Those are some awesomely impressive pictures.
ReplyDeleteCapturing lightning is on my bucket list!! Very cool pictures!! Tell you sister she did a great job ;)
ReplyDeleteThat second shot is incredible!! I've tried to get lightning shots, too, but we just never get that much.

Those are awesome shots! Great lightning and fireworks photos are something I strive to capture some day.
ReplyDeleteYes, I too have wished I could get some lightening shots. It is not a real convenient thing to take a picture of, but I guess that is how we get the best pictures, by going where others won't go! We've had some lightening the last couple of days ourselves. So nice since we've been in a drought!
ReplyDeleteImpressive pictures! I love seeing nature shots.
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots!!

These are awesome! I tried to get some shots at the beach a couple of months ago during a thunderstorm, but I never did click at the right time.
ReplyDeleteHoly moly, these are awesome!!! I've taken lightning pics before and now I'm dying to take more.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and linking up for WW. I’m a little late to the party, but I made it nonetheless. Have a great day.
