Artsy Craftsy Afternoon

This week I did something that I have been meaning to do for a long time. I went to the store and bought some washable paint. Then I got out the clothesline, put up a sheet, and turned the boys loose!

We tried to mix paint with water and put it in some squirt guns, like I saw in Family Fun magazine, but it wasn't as colorful as we wanted it to be. So then we got out some pie tins and got our hands dirty.

Then we hosed the sheet off and watched our handprints melt away. Then later in the evening when the sheet had dried, we got out the foam brushes and went crazy! The boys had so much fun!

The best part is that the sheet washed out completely. So now we can do it again another day!

P.S. I made these cute scrapbook pages using My Memories Suite software, which I am giving away!

If you just want to buy this awesome software, use code STMMMS8072 to get a $10 discount off the purchase of the My Memories Suite Scrapbook software and a $10 coupon for the MyMemories.com store - $20 value!

  1. Fun times! I tried this with my kids (and permanent paint) but it was so hot out that they only lasted about 5 seconds. And that was at 7pm! Maybe we will try again with washable paint in like November, lol!
