Let There Be Light: A $35 Gift Giveaway!

We have been doing quite a bit of remodeling in preparation for our new arrival. I am happy to say that the baby's room is all ready (good thing too, since she will be here tomorrow!). The accent wall is painted, the crib is set up, and the dresser is full of clean clothes. The baby's room even has a dimmer switch on the light so we don't have to be blinded during those middle of the night feedings. How convenient!

Now we just have one other lighting problem to take care of. We have a florescent light in our basement that is just obnoxious. It flickers and generally drives us crazy. Besides which, florescent lighting isn't exactly my favorite. Maybe after we have settled in with our new little one we can work on choosing a new kind of lighting for the basement. There are so many choices for lighting out there. Recessed lighting, pendant lighting, fans with lights, flush mount lights, chandeliers and on and on.

 We would love to put in some recessed lighting in the basement that lights up the entire space, rather than just the part of the room with flourescent lighting.
