We moved into our home last summer, and there were some beautiful roses and other summer plants in bloom, but we've had a constant treat this Spring, by first daffodils and now tulips that we didn't know were there.
Oh, I love these. I grew up in Michigan and spring was always waves of tulips. Now I live in the desert southwest with not a tulip for miles - with the exception of the flower counter at the local Safeway. But that's just not the same. Thanks for sharing. It made my night.
The red and yellow variety are my mom's favorite...she would lala LOVE that pic (I do too, we just went to a tulip festival and she couldn't get over the red and yellow ones...)!!
Oh my goodness those are some beautiful flowers! I think I am going to have to plant some of those in my flowerbeds so I can have a treat next spring!!
Lovely tulips. You know they never appealed to me before this Spring and now it seems like I can't get enough of them. My kids are trying to figure out how many colours they can see of them. Nice PSF.
Your photos of your beautiful flora makes me so jealous! I wish I had any kind of skill at growing pretty plants...
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
