Rainy-Day Reflections of Fleet Feet

This week the weather has been GORGEOUS and we are loving it! So sunny and mild! Somehow we are back up in to the upper fifty and lower sixty degree weather during the day. It is actually pretty pleasant to spend time outside during the middle part of the day.

Jonah loves being outside. So even when it was wet and drizzly last week, I humored the poor boy and took him out for a walk in the rain. He was getting pretty antsy being cooped up most of the week. Of course I brought my camera with me. I am rarely out in the rain and I thought I would see what there was to capture.

Jonah insisted that he needed an umbrella. It was hilarious to watch this little person try to carry around a huge umbrella. After the first half block he decided he didn't need it anymore.

Here Mommy! You carry it!

I didn't mind carrying the umbrella because unlike Jonah, I didn't have a hat on. Anyway, we walked around the cemetery near our house. Actually, I walked and Jonah ran almost the entire time. Except for when I told him to stop and wait for mommy.

Hurry Mommy! I'm waiting!

You really should click on the above photo and check out the look on his face. I think it's hilarious!

This next photo is my favorite. Somehow I managed to snap this picture at just the right moment... if you look closely you'll see that Jonah's feet aren't touching the ground at all!

Yep. That's my angel-boy.

I am participating in Wordful Wednesday.
