Today we went to church like we do every Sunday. Sometimes it can be a challenge to keep a two-year old (and a baby for that matter!) quiet and busy during the meetings so they don't disturb everyone else too much.
Today there were a lot of visitors at our church. A couple of rows in front of us there was a woman (that we don't personally know) wearing a backless dress. My son, Jonah noticed her and apparently backless dresses are not that common in his little world (actually, you don't see them that often in my world either). In his high, squeaky-toddler voice he says, "Mommy, that girl is naked!"
It was all my husband and I could do not to break out laughing. Luckily I don't think too many other people heard him!
The funny stuff that comes out of the mouths of our children......
ReplyDeleteWe are on a tight budget and I often try to find good deals. We were leaving the dermatologist office and my son kept saying look mom, all this stuff is free. Isn't it so nice to get all this for free? He kept on and on and he has a loud voice. Oh my....
That is SO funny! I love the story!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun to view the world through a child's eyes?
